Mariwa: An Ivian Tale is a work meant for mature audiences and not recommended to minors. Viewer discretion is advised.
Summary:
As the solstice arrives in the long forgotten village of Lesser Hollow, a ceremony is held in worship of its ever watching god. A life is sacrificed, a century old scheme is put into motion, and a stranger bearing unholy weaponry approaches. Doom is nigh.
Deep in darkness, Holly Seneschal remains unaware. Secluded after a mysterious condition left her with a monstrous body, little does she realize her presence has caught the attention of higher beings, their ploys at the cusp of realization. The long awaited day she will be freed has come, and the cost will be insurmountable.
In the island of Ivias, millennia of war have ravaged its many nations and once myriad gods, leaving grotesque god killers to hunt in their destructive wake. In a scenario of such brutal strife and misery, can things ever change? Can anyone ever truly escape? And can Holly ever truly understand, and accept, what she may become?
The pages to another of Ivias many tales open.
A Dark Fantasy story about roles and the divine.
Current Schedule: one chapter released every Saturday, but please be aware that my personal life can be rather unpredictable, so some might have to be cut short or delayed.
